Milk Education has landed in Swansea!
We’re so excited to have a new office location in South Wales and provide support and supply teaching jobs to teachers, teaching assistants and support staff in Swansea.
Our office is in the newly renovated, stunning Swansea Albert Hall building in the heart of the city!
This iconic building has been home to speeches and performances from Charles Dickens & Oscar Wilde in years gone by, and will now feature creative spaces, a premier food hall with independent stalls, private dining rooms, a rooftop garden & more.
We believe that this beautiful new office space is perfectly positioned for our Milk consultants to find top teaching talent in Swansea and surrounding areas!
Swansea schools and educators can register with us today for access to FREE, exclusive lesson plans & discounted CPD courses!
Why Did We Choose Swansea?
This is Milk’s FIRST office outside of England – and we can’t wait to build connections with schools in South Wales!
As the second largest city in Wales, Swansea (and the city centre in particular) has been undergoing an exciting regeneration project, with over £1 billion being invested across the city.
This is such an exciting time to become a part of the city and connect with local schools and educators!
Our expansion into Wales means more connections with local schools, leading to more teaching, teaching assistant and support staff jobs to be filled by incredible educators!
The Importance of Finding the Right Leaders
At Milk, we believe that finding the right leaders is key to the growth and development of our offices. Our leaders bring a genuine passion for Education and Education Recruitment, and our Swansea team leaders are no exception to this.
What Makes a Milk Education Leader?
- Clear Vision and Direction
- Inspiring the Team
- Encouraging Communication
- Building a Relationship with Local Schools
All these traits are what make our Milk leaders drive their teams to success, and we’re excited to see the growth of our new Swansea office and the impact the team will have on local schools in the area.
Here’s a snapshot of the value our leaders add to local partner primary, secondary & SEND schools and teaching staff:
- Providing access to exclusive teaching talent and job roles in the area.
- Offering incredible school speakers to schools.
- Community-focused, purpose-driven support throughout our partnership.
Make Life Kind Charity Comes to Swansea
Milk Education’s arrival into Swansea also means the launch of our Make Life Kind Charity partnership in South Wales!
Milk Education’s long-standing partnership with Make Life Kind Charity uplifts and empowers young people to reach their full potential.
Make Life Kind works with incredible school speakers to bring their valuable messages into school, focusing on a range of topics, including:
- Anti-racism
- Gang & knife crime
- Mental health
- Neurodiversity
- LGBTQ+ issues
- Disability awareness
According to a 2023 report from the Youth Endowment Fund, nearly half of all teenagers surveyed has been a victim or a witness of violence in the last 12 months.
This worrying statistic highlights how young people need clear and structured support to help them choose the right path, respect others and manage potential physical and mental health concerns.
We’re aiming to make a huge impact in the local Swansea community, with our initiative to tackle stigmatised topics that affect young people every day.
You can follow Make Life Kind Charity on LinkedIn and Instagram for more updates on their community impact.
