You might be surprised to know just how many restaurants and cafes offer big discounts for kids, and with the increasing cost of living in the UK, this can be a huge help for parents.
We’ve compiled a list of our top places that let kids eat free (or for a low price) this summer!
Kids Eat Free Offers and Kids Eat for £1 Deals
Asda
Asda Cafés run a ‘Kids Eat for £1’ deal, which is now running all year round, not just for the summer holidays!
Available in over 205 cafes, Asda provides under 16s with a hot meal for only £1, with their menu featuring a variety of nutritional dishes. They provide vegan and healthy meal options, and kids also receive a free piece of fruit with their meal!
Beefeater & Brewers Fayre
Kids under 16 can get a FREE breakfast, with every adult breakfast purchased! This kind of saving really is the best way to start the day.
They also offer a three-course kids’ menu for £6.99, with loads of options available, including pub grub classics.
Bella Italia
At Bella Italia, kids eat for FREE all day every Thursday, and kids eat for £1 between 4-6pm on Sunday to Wednesday.
Every child gets three courses and a drink, with different portion sizes available to suit every appetite.
No one goes hungry with this amazing offer from Bella Italia!
Gordan Ramsay Restaurants
Kids under eight get a free main meal from the children’s menu for every adult main purchased. Add a dessert for only £3.50 too!
This offer is only valid at selected UK restaurants, so check for your location before visiting.
Hungry Horse Pubs
Every Monday, kids eat for £1 at Hungry Horse!
Some Hungry Horse pubs even include a ‘Wacky Warehouse’ soft play corner, perfect for them to burn off some energy and keep busy during the summer holidays. They also have a lot of outdoor spaces, perfect to enjoy meals outside when the sun is out.
IKEA
Furniture shopping also comes with a saving at IKEA cafes! Although famous for their meatballs, IKEA also offers a range of kids’ meals. On Fridays, you can get a kids’ pasta or mac and cheese for only 95p, with other kids’ meals available for £1.50.
Las Iguanas
Download the Las Iguanas app to join ‘My Las Iguanas,’ and you’ll have access to free kids’ meals with every adult main meal!
Available for kids up to 12 years old, the offer includes a kids’ meal with a choice of main, 2 sides, and a dessert.
Las Iguanas are also giving away a FREE book with every kids’ meal, featuring their own characters, Iggy & Friends!
Morrisons
Morrisons Café lets kids eat free with the purchase of any adult meal, over the value of £4.50 or over. Free kids’ meals also include a piece of fruit and an orange juice, apple juice, or bottle of water.
With 497 Morrisons stores across the UK, it’s the perfect place to go if you’re searching for a relaxing lunchtime spot with plenty of food options for kids.
Pizza Express
Until Sunday 11th August, from Monday to Sunday, kids get a free Piccolo meal with every dine-in adult main purchased. Piccolo meals include dough balls, pizza, pasta or salad, a dessert and a Bambinoccino!
Pizza Hut
Until 11th August, Pizza Hut is running a ‘Kids Eat Free’ buffet offer, which is available until 3pm everyday using the code SUMMERKEF.
The code is valid for dine-in only, and you’ll need to spend a minimum of £10 first. This means kids can eat unlimited pizza, pasta and salad!
Premier Inn
You don’t need to be staying at a Premier Inn to enjoy their free breakfast deal! With the purchase of an adult full Premier Inn breakfast, or a Meal Deal, under 16s can get a free breakfast. Perfect for early risers!
Offer excludes: Hanover Street, North Bridge, Marble Arch, Leicester Square, Piccadilly, Russel Square, Strand and Trafford Centre Pizza Hut locations.
Sainsbury’s
Kids eat for £1 at Sainsbury’s Cafes, with the purchase of any adult hot main meal. Kids can choose from a hot meal or a lunch bag, which includes a sandwich, snack, yogurt, fruit and a drink!
This offer is available everyday from 11.30am until Café closure.
Sizzling Pubs
Every Monday to Friday, from 3-7pm, kids’ main meals are £1 with every adult meal.
And during the summer holidays, this offer is valid from 12pm, meaning you can eat out with the kids for lunch too!
With a wide range of meals available on the menu, Sizzling Pubs have something to offer no matter your child’s preferences!
Subway
Until Sunday 25th August, kids get a free meal when you purchase any foot long sub or sub melt at selected Subway stores. Kids get a 4-inch sub, a snack and a drink – for free!
Tesco
With any adult purchase in Tesco Cafes, kids get a FREE meal! You’ll need a Clubcard to access this offer, which you can easily sign up for through the Tesco app or by speaking to an assistant in store.
This offer is valid until 16th August in Scotland, and 30th August in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Kids can choose from a hot meal, or a ‘Pick n’ Mix’ deal, which includes 1 sandwich, 1 drink, 1 fruit item, and a choice of 2 snacks.
TGI Friday’s
Available all day every day, Stripes Rewards Members get a FREE kids’ meal when they order an adult’s main meal.
